Devin Booker earns All-NBA third-team honor for 2023-24 season
Booker was previously an All-NBA first-team selection in 2022. He was one of two players to rank in the top-6 in points and top-11 in assists per game.
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has been named to the All-NBA third-team with Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis, as announced by the league.
Booker was one of two players (along with the Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic), to rank at least sixth in the NBA in scoring (27.1 points per game) and 11th in assists (6.9 per game).
This is the second All-NBA honor for the 27-year-old Booker who in 2022 was all-NBA first-team after the Suns finished with a league-best 64 wins.
Booker is recognized by many around the Suns as their franchise player, even though all-time great Kevin Durant is on the team. Phoenix is looking to win its first-ever championship with Booker, who majority owner Mat Ishbia said is the best player in the NBA.
The Suns in 2024-25 will likely have Booker, Durant and Bradley Beal back on their team. Phoenix this past week announced former Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer as its next head coach.
