Phoenix Mercury and Natasha Mack agree to training camp deal
Reserved free agent forward Natasha Mack signed a training camp contract with the Mercury on Friday.

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury and Natasha Mack agreed to a training camp deal on Friday.
Per the WNBA CBA, it is a one-year, non-guaranteed training camp contract for $66,079.
This comes after the Mercury extended contract offers to four of their five reserved free agents on Thursday.
Amy Atwell, Celeste Taylor, Kiki Herbert Harrigan and Mack all received reserved qualifying offers.
After she was signed to a training camp contract on Feb. 9, 2024, Mack not only made the Mercury’s opening night roster but became one of only two Phoenix players to play in all 40 games during the 2024 regular season (along with Sophie Cunningham).
With Brittney Griner missing the first 10 games of the season due to a fractured toe, Mack stepped up and started in Griner’s absence and made her presence known in a big way.
Mack joined Candace Parker, Lisa Leslie, Breanna Stewart and Elena Baranova as the only players in WNBA history to average at least 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals over the first eight games of the season.
But after Griner returned from injury, Mack continued to be productive on both ends of the floor. She was second in the league in blocks per 40 minutes (3.0) and recorded at least one block in 28 games this season, tying the fifth-best mark in the league.
In addition, she led all Mercury reserves in games with at least seven rebounds (seven games) and averaged 5.0 rebounds per game, the second most on the Mercury.
The 6-foot-3 forward also finished second on the Mercury in field goal percentage at 57.3%.
